The Retail Resource Group executive team presented a donation check of $10,000 to Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida that will provide 40,000 meals to families and all people in need in our local Central Florida community. In this unprecedented time of need, the RRG team wanted to make a positive impact by providing this donation to support the efforts of Second Harvest. The work that Second Harvest does to provide and distribute nutritious and much needed meals and food staples for families, for our seniors, and for our unemployed that have been so impacted by this pandemic.
The assistance provided and caring and generous work they do is truly remarkable.
In addition to providing this financial donation of support to Second Harvest the members of the RRG team will be volunteering personal time on weekends in 2021 to physically assist in the process of packing and distribution at the Second Harvest facility in Orlando. We are looking forward to the rewarding experience of making a difference to all the people in need of food by lending a helping hand.
We appreciate all of our 2020 year customers that purchased products from our website store and helped our Let’s Make a Difference Together Campaign to be successful . We donate 15% from the proceeds of every purchase made through our website to Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida. With your help and from additional contributions from within the company we were able to donate over $ 10,000.
